Create a reptile passport

For certain reptiles, you will need a reptile passport. You can find more information here.

Detailed description

For keeping certain reptile species, you must create a photo documentation (reptile passport). A form can be found in the "Links" section.

 

Information

Prerequisites

You keep one of the following reptiles:

  • Moorish tortoise (Testudo graeca),
  • Marginated tortoise (Testudo marginata),
  • Greek tortoise (Testudo hermanni),
  • Egyptian tortoise (Testudo kleinmannii),
  • Radiated tortoise (Geochelone radiata),
  • Northern Madagascar boa (Acronthophis madagascariensis),
  • Southern Madagascar boa (Constrictor occidentalis),
  • Madagascar dog-headed boa (Sanzinia madagascariensis)

Please note

The keeping of specially protected vertebrates is subject to mandatory reporting. The required inventory report can be downloaded from this page (at the bottom).

  • You download the form and fill it out yourself.
  • The reptile passport remains with the animal in question and must be handed over if the owner changes.
