If you suffer damage to your health in Germany as a result of an intentional, unlawful physical attack, for example physical injury, you can apply for benefits with regard to this damage to your health.

Benefits for medical and medical treatment, welfare benefits, pension and other cash benefits come into consideration.

These services are based on the degree of the consequences of your health damage (degree of damage consequences) and your needs.

Financial losses or immaterial damage will not be compensated. This also applies to self-inflicted injuries (e.g. if you started a fight).

You can be denied benefits if you, as the injured person, do not contribute to the clarification, for example if you do not file a complaint.

People who do not have German citizenship have the same rights as Germans.

You are the victim of an intentional unlawful physical attack in Germany or the surviving relatives of a person killed as a result.
