Apply for a supplement to the severely disabled pass with or without a token

If you are severely disabled, you are entitled, under certain conditions, to free travel on local public transport or to a reduction in vehicle tax.

Detailed description

If you have a two-coloured disability card with certain symbols, you can apply for a supplementary sheet and a token. With the supplementary sheet and token, you can travel on local public transport for free and/or receive a reduction in vehicle tax.

In order to use the free local public transport, you must pay a contribution to buy a token for half a year or a whole year. If you receive certain social benefits or have certain symbols on your severely disabled person's pass, you may not have to pay a contribution. Alternatively, you can apply for a supplementary sheet without a token instead to receive a reduction in vehicle tax.

If your severely disabled person's ID card contains certain symbols, you have the option of using the supplementary sheet with the token to claim both a reduction in vehicle tax and free travel on local public transport.

If your supplement is damaged or you have lost it, you can request a replacement.

 

Information

Prerequisites

  • You have an assessed degree of disability of at least 50.
  • You have a valid two-coloured disability card.
  • You have been awarded at least one of the following symbols: G, aG, Bl, H, Gl.

Documents required

  • A valid two-colored severely disabled pass with at least one of the marks G, aG, Bl, H and Gl
  • If applicable, evidence of the receipt of certain social benefits for the cost exemption from the personal contribution to the token

There are no special features.

Deadlines

The time at which the supplement with the token is issued depends on the receipt of the application. If the month in which the application is submitted is already late, the supplementary sheet with a token will only be issued for the next month.

Procedure

You can submit the application informally by telephone, post or email.

If you meet the requirements for a supplementary sheet with a tokenwith personal contributionIf you meet the requirements, a transfer form will be sent to you. The supplementary sheet with the voucher will be sent to you as soon as you have paid the excess.

If you meet the requirements for a supplementary sheet with a token without any personal contribution, the supplementary sheet with the token will be sent to you immediately.

If you do not meet the requirements, you will receive a rejection notice.

Processing time


  • For supplementary sheets with paid tokens or without tokens, approximately a few days

  • For supplementary sheet with free stamp approximately two weeks

  • In case of rejection, the processing time may vary

Fees

You can purchase the supplementary sheet with the token against a personal contribution.




You will receive the token without any personal contribution if you have been awarded at least one of the symbols Bl or H or if you receive certain social benefits as a severely disabled person.
