You must have your new address changed immediately on the chip of your eID card.

Procedure

• You report in person to the office responsible for you for resident affairs
• You present your current official confirmation of registration and your valid eID card
• Your location for resident affairs will then change your address on your eID card free of charge

The processing time is a few minutes.
