• in married parents
  • birth certificates
  • Marriage certificate or a certified copy of the marriage register
• for unmarried parents
  • mother's birth certificate
  • if paternity has already been established:
    • Declarations of acknowledgment of paternity
    • father's birth certificate
    • if applicable, the declarations of concern
  • Identity card, passport or a recognized passport replacement document of the parents
  • a certificate of birth issued by a doctor, midwife or maternity nurse, provided they were present at the birth.
  • A marriage certificate must also be presented if the marriage is dissolved.

  • The day of birth is not included in the calculation of the notification period.
  
  
  • If a child is stillborn or dies during childbirth, the notification must be made no later than the third working day following the birth.
  
  


• Subsequent registration of the name: within one month

Fees

EUR 14.50 for the birth certificate including three certificates for parental benefit, child benefit and health insurance. Each additional certificate in the same processing step 6 EUR. Deeds for pension purposes are free of charge.
