The Ausbildungsförderung der Hamburger Wirtschaft e.V. is a Hamburg-based economic association for training support, which provides counselling on finding a training placement and obtaining introductory qualifications. An introductory qualification comprises 4 to 12 months of long-term internship, including remuneration and social security. The internship is relevant to most dual vocational trainings.
About Us
Founded in 2005 by the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the Handwerkskammer Hamburg (‘Hamburg Crafts Chamber’) and the UV-Nord (‘Society of Northern German Business Associations’), the Ausbildungsförderung der Hamburger Wirtschaft e.V. is funded by the Hamburg Social Security Office.
Our Services
- Counselling regarding introductory qualifications
- Support on finding a training company
- Support in the application process
- Internship certificate and/or IHK certificate upon successful completion of the introductory qualification
- If applicable, language support and first visits to the vocational school
- Advice and counselling up to the transition phase into professional training
Requirements
- No finished professional qualifications
- Unsuccessful search for a vocational training placement
- B1-level German skills or above are recommended
