Not everyone wants to wake up early for a flea market and Hamburg’s Nachtflohmarkt (German for “night flea market”) is designed exactly for that. From April to October, the space in front of the Rindermarkthalle St. Pauli turns into a lively evening market twice a week, creating a relaxed after-hours option for second-hand shopping.
The focus is on pre-owned clothing, accessories and a broad mix of second-hand items, often sold by private individuals and local creatives. The evening timing gives the market a different rhythm: it feels social, easy-going and spontaneous, especially for visitors who want something to do after dinner or after a day of sightseeing.
In winter, the market sometimes moves indoors to the Gleishalle Oberhafen for selected dates, keeping the concept alive even when the weather turns.
