Kulturpunkt Flea Market at Barmbek°Basch

A friendly neighbourhood flea market held on the first Sunday of every month, with coffee, cake and a community feel.

This monthly flea market at Barmbek°Basch is as much about neighbourhood life as it is about shopping. Held at the Kulturpunkt near Dehnhaide, it combines a classic private-sale flea market with the atmosphere of a local community meet-up. It is a good choice if you prefer smaller, more personal markets over the big commercial-feeling ones.

The event takes place on the first Sunday of every month and focuses on second-hand items sold by private individuals rather than professional traders. A distinctive detail is the cake tradition: sellers contribute homemade cake, which means there is always coffee and something sweet available on-site.

Beyond browsing for small treasures, the market encourages conversation and community spirit — making it an especially pleasant stop if you want a slower, more local side of Hamburg.

When: First Sunday of every month, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (setup from 9 a.m.)
Where: Barmbek°Basch / Kulturpunkt, Wohldorfer Str. 30, 22081 Hamburg
