In 2010, five first-class museums joined forces to create the Hamburg Kunstmeile. Arguably the most prolific art museums in the region can be visited with only one ticket: the Kunstmeile Pass. The Kunsthalle, the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe (MKG), the Bucerius Kunst Forum, the Deichtorhallen and the Kunstverein are all part of the pass, that allows you to enter all five museums within a year's time.

The five locations are all within walking distance of each other, forming a literal mile of art. That means, one could theoretically cross them all off your list in much less time than a full year. If you’re one of those people who can take in more than one museum per day, or just don’t have plenty of Hamburg time on your hand, the Three-Day Kunstmeile Pass might just be right for you. On three consecutive days, you can enter all five institutions for the price of just three.

And the Kunstmeile Pass throws in a little goody: the pass comes with a pin and an access code for additional information around the Kunstmeile project.

For your convenience, the Pass also comes with a map, that guides your way from one museum to the next.
