On 1 December 2024, MJ – The Michael Jackson Musical had its German premiere at the Stage Theater an der Elbe, offering a spectacular tribute to the life and music of one of the greatest entertainers of all time.

For the German production, Jackson’s songs remain in their original English, while the dialogue is translated into German. After extensive auditions, Brazilian-born musical performer Benét Monteiro was cast in the demanding role of Michael Jackson.
