Opera, But It’s Awesome

The crew at Opernloft think that opera is rad. That’s why they do opera. But they do it a little differently than all the other opera houses. They take the wonderful works of Mozart, Verdi and Puccini, distil the stories to their essence and bring them into the here and now. The audience is always part of the game – either because they are touched by the story or because the audience is integrated into part of the immersive opera events. In La Traviata, for example, the viewers sit in Violetta's casino challenging their luck at the gaming tables, or in Carmen, they find themselves in a karaoke bar, with cocktails being mixed and served to their seats. Plus: the opera performances won’t take longer than 90 minutes – promise!
