A Place for Internationals in Hamburg

The Hamburg Players have been providing Hamburg locals and expats alike with a place to come together in appreciation for the English language and the theatrical arts since the mid-1960s. This high-quality amateur theatre group puts on three full length plays a year, with pieces ranging from classics to contemporary in a range of genres.

Theatre Funded by Members

While the group is best known in the city for their plays, The Hamburg Players have even more to offer to their dues paying members. Anyone is eligible to become a member, and the benefits that come with membership include access to play readings, improve workshops and even singing in an English-language choir.

No experience is necessary, so if you've been looking for an artistic outlet, this could be it! And course performances are open to the public, members and non-members alike.

For more information on current and upcoming performances, including tickets, as well as more information on membership, visit The Hamburg Players online.
