Wind, Halls and the North Sea
Hamburg is a port that faces the North Sea, and WindEnergy Hamburg is the trade fair that matches that geography. From 22 to 25 September 2026, manufacturers, operators, suppliers and policymakers fill Hamburg Messe — halls A1–A4 and B1–B7 — covering the full onshore and offshore wind value chain. The biennial has become the industry’s global meeting place, and in 2026 a new Energy Storage area arrives as a core part of the energy-transition story. A conference programme runs in parallel; Recruiting Days on 24 and 25 September target young professionals. This is a working fair, not a public festival.
Hamburg’s port already lives with wind: turbines offshore, supply chains on the quays, weather as a working fact. The fair is where that industry puts its kit on the floor and argues about grids, storage and the next round of projects. Expect a dense B2B crowd rather than a public science night.
