Two Days, Endless Content
Every year, one of the biggest conventions for online marketing comes to Hamburg's Messehallen Congress Centre. The OMR Festival brings international digital marketing 'rockstars' and behind-the-scenes industry champions alike to the Hanseatic City.
Now firmly established as one of Europe's largest events for online marketing and the digital economy, the festival drew more than 67,000 visitors in 2025. All speakers are absolute experts in their fields, but the line-up consistently features names that visitors might not immediately associate with marketing — from tech industry heavyweights to figures from sport, entertainment, and politics.
Programme
The programme extends well beyond the main stages. More than 300 masterclasses offer hands-on knowledge from leading practitioners, while 200 guided tours provide exclusive behind-the-scenes insights. Topics span the full breadth of the digital economy — from AI and e-commerce to finance, HR, sustainability, and diversity.
The OMR Expo, running since 2015, brings together around 1,000 exhibitors and partners, ranging from major technology companies such as Google and SAP to SaaS providers, SMEs, and start-ups showcasing the latest tools and innovations.
Networking is woven throughout the entire event. Whether at a side event, on the expo floor, or over lunch in the food hall, there are countless opportunities to make new connections across the industry. When the working day winds down, more than 80 food stands cater to every taste, and live concerts round off each evening.
2026 Highlights
This year's speaker line-up is particularly eclectic. Alongside tech industry figures such as OpenAI's Head of ChatGPT Nick Turley, Signal President Meredith Whittaker, and Google VP Brendon Kraham, the stage will also be taken by seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, supermodel and entrepreneur Heidi Klum, OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair, NYU Stern professor and author Scott Galloway, and Germany's Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Finance Lars Klingbeil.
Previous live acts have included Shirin David, Tokio Hotel, Macklemore, and Kraftklub, with this year's entertainment line-up still to be announced.
