Stylish, sustainable, and bursting with creativity
Prepare for a festive shopping experience like no other! Holy Shit Shopping transforms Messehalle B1 into one of Hamburg’s most exciting Christmas design markets, bringing together over 200 designers, artists, makers and small labels. Since 2004, the event has stood for creative, sustainable shopping far beyond the mainstream, offering visitors a vibrant mix of contemporary design, club culture and street food.
Holy Shit Shopping celebrates design “zum Anfassen”: stylish, handmade and innovative. Visitors can explore a curated selection of modern fashion, jewellery, ceramics, home décor, illustrations, natural cosmetics and unique gift ideas that blend craftsmanship with a fresh, urban edge. Whether you’re searching for a special Christmas present or something for yourself, the market is packed with pieces you won’t find anywhere else.
Behind the event is a small team from the worlds of fashion, art, marketing and event production, united by a commitment to sustainable consumption and social responsibility. Their goal is to connect people with the creative minds behind the products and give independent makers a platform to grow. This spirit of community, together with a lively mix of food, music and creativity, is what makes Holy Shit Shopping so distinctive.
