For four days in September, the international music community meets in St. Pauli district. The eponymous festival takes place on and all around the Reeperbahn strip. The choice of locations and international performing artists is just as colourful and diverse as the area in which they play: concerts will be hosted in locations as varied as Molotow music club and the St. Pauli church.

With hundreds of concerts, readings, art happenings and movie screenings, the festival is packed brimful with highlights for every music lover. From heavy metal and punk to indie, hip-hop, jazz and soul: visitors will have plenty of opportunity to broaden their musical minds beyond genre boundaries.

The 2025 Line-Up

The programme highlights include concerts by Pip Millett and Fuffifuffzich at the Elbphilharmonie. Additionally, a diverse line-up of bands and artists including Dry Cleaning (UK), Blondshell (US), MØ (DK), Waving the Guns (D), and Ivo Martin (D), among many others, will be performing on the various stages of the Reeperbahn Festival.

Music Business Convention

As much as there's to see and do for music fans, Reeperbahn Festival also doubles as one of the most important conferences of the music industry. Representatives of the leading music labels come together and discuss strategies and the latest trends. Among the most significant dates of the event is the ceremony for the ANCHOR International Music Awards.

re:publica goes to Reeperbahn Festival

A new feature that began with the Reeperbahn Festival 2023 is a cooperation with the Berlin digital conference re:publica. The cooperation means that a second re:publica takes place every year at the Reeperbahn Festival. The Hamburg edition takes place as part of the Reeperbahn Festival 18/19 September. Guests can look forward to a programme of talks, workshops, panel discussions and performances.
