Every summer, Hamburg roars to life as Europe’s largest urban biker event takes over the city for an unforgettable weekend of horsepower, rock ‘n’ roll, and biker culture. Tens of thousands of Harley-Davidson fans from across the continent gather at the Großmarkt near Hammerbrook to celebrate all things chrome and thunder.

Live Music – The Weekend’s Soundtrack

The Main Stage delivers live performances every day, from gritty retro rock to high-energy blues grooves. Bands and solo acts set the tone, while DJs in the Dealer Village keep the energy high throughout the festival.

Motorcycle Parade – Feel the Thunder

A highlight for many visitors is the grand parade on Sunday: a 30-kilometre procession of rumbling Harleys through the city. The route typically takes riders from the Großmarkt over the iconic Köhlbrand Bridge, through HafenCity, past the historic Fischmarkt, and along the Reeperbahn—an unforgettable spectacle for both participants and spectators.

Stunt Shows & Demo Rides – Pure Adrenaline

Crowds gather by the Main Stage to watch breathtaking stunt performances from top riders and world record-holders. Special guests from around the globe showcase their artistry on two wheels, while Harley-Davidson Germany offers guided test rides of the latest models for anyone with a valid motorcycle licence.

Custombike Show – Where Chrome Meets Creativity

The Custombike Show draws some of the most creative and skilled builders in the scene. From historic classics to cutting-edge clubstyle creations, bikes compete in multiple judged categories, with trophies, prize money, and bragging rights up for grabs.

Dealer Village – The Heart of Harley Culture

At the centre of the action, the Dealer Village is a one-stop shop for Harley enthusiasts: the latest models, rare parts, and loads of branded gear. Many editions also feature special areas for Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) members, offering exclusive perks, as well as a used bike market where individuals and dealers can connect with potential buyers.

Tattoo Area – Inked in Style

The festival often includes a tattoo section where visitors can get spontaneous ink, book sessions with renowned artists, or browse accessories—adding a personal, creative touch to the biker experience.

Charity Action – Selfies for a Cause

Harley Days also supports good causes, with activities like crane lift rides offering spectacular views over the festival site in exchange for donations to local charities.

Guided Tours – Discover Hamburg on Two Wheels

For those eager to ride beyond the city streets, guided tours through the Hamburg countryside offer scenic routes and a sense of camaraderie among riders.
