Detailed description
The Coordination Office for Child Protection is the contact point for questions about child protection, informs you about the tasks and responsibilities of youth welfare services and provides information about support and advice services.
The Coordination Office for Child Protection is there to help you, especially if you have a possibly unclear suspicion that a child's welfare is at risk. We can discuss with you by phone or in person what exactly is causing your concern, what indications you perceive of a child's welfare being at risk and what support measures have already been or can be attempted. The Coordination Office for Child Protection can also explain to you how the Department of Youth and Family Services can help and what next steps make sense to ensure the child's welfare. The consultation can be anonymous if you wish.
The Child Protection Coordination Office also initiates and organizes specialist events and training courses on specific child protection issues. Speakers are also available to answer your specific training requests.
