Detailed description

Compensation payments for victims of National Socialism are financial or material benefits that you, as a victim or survivor, could receive as reparation for the suffering inflicted on you by the Nazi regime. They served as recognition of the injustice suffered and were intended to at least partially compensate for your personal and economic losses.



Compensation could be granted to you in the form of:

  • One-off payments
  • Pension benefits
  • Benefits in kind

Prerequisites

You or a person close to you was persecuted by the Nazi regime for racist, religious, political or other reasons and suffered harm as a result.

Documents required

  • Identity card or passport
  • Proof of kinship, power of attorney
  • You may be required to submit additional documents. The responsible authority will inform you accordingly.
