Women's shelters are places of refuge for women, with or without children, who are being emotionally and/or physically abused by their husbands, boyfriends, fathers, or sons. If, for example, you are living in an abusive relationship and need protection, you can find refuge in a women's shelter. There you will receive support and counseling.
