Detailed description

The new drone regulation came into force on April 7, 2017. It includes comprehensive rules and regulations for the operation of unmanned aircraft (drones and multicopters). The rules regarding mandatory marking and the requirement to provide proof of knowledge apply from October 1, 2017.

The Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure has published an overview of the most important rules (see links).

 

Information

Fees

The fees charged for administering the examination and its certification are discretionary for recognized bodies. A fee of €25 is set for instruction by an authorized association or its clubs.
