For the Hamburgische Investitions- und Förderbank (IFB), housing promotion remains a main part of their work - as was the case with the former housing loan institution. Both the path to owning your own home and the construction and modernization of rental apartments in Hamburg will continue to be funded. The IFB would like to relieve the Hamburg rental market and help more people, and especially families, to be able to afford to own their own home in the Hanseatic city.
