Detailed description

The youth.drogen.beratung.kö offers information and advice for children, adolescents and young adults who use or are at risk of addiction, as well as their families. For problems in dealing with

  • Alcohol,
  • Cannabis and other drugs,
  • extreme media use,
  • Eating disorders and
  • Gambling.

You can contact the counseling team. The consultation is confidential, and you do not need to give your name. Even if you are a social work professional, you can contact them if you have questions or concerns about a case.



The counseling team consists of experienced social workers with many years of experience in addiction and youth services. Support is confidential and available without long waiting times. We will work with you to find the right solutions for your situation.

 

Information

Prerequisites

  • You are a maximum of 21 years old and
  • You live in Hamburg or go to school in Hamburg and
  • You have questions or need support regarding your consumption.
  • Alternatively: You are a caregiver for a young person aged 21 or younger who has a drug use problem.

Documents required

No documents are required.

Procedure

  • You contact the advice center to find out more about the services available.
  • If necessary, arrange an appointment for an initial consultation.
  • During the conversation, you can calmly describe your concerns and ask any questions you may have.
  • Together with the consultant, you will find suitable solutions and discuss the next steps.
  • You will receive individual support and, if necessary, referral to other sources of help.

Processing time

You can usually get a consultation appointment within a few days. Further appointments depend on the individual case.

The consultation is free of charge.
