Social assistance, subsistence assistance in the event of permanent disability

If you are of working age and are temporarily unable to work, you may be able to receive assistance with living expenses under certain conditions.

  •

Detailed description

Social assistance is given to those who cannot or insufficiently obtain their necessary livelihood from their own strengths and resources, i.e. neither income nor assets are sufficient for this. The prerequisite is a temporary, at least 6 months, but not permanent disability on the general labor market, which means that the applicant can work less than 3 hours a day. An entitlement could also exist if an early retirement pension is drawn.
