Detailed description
Photogrammetry (image measurement) is a measurement and evaluation process to determine its spatial position or three-dimensional shape from photographs and precise measurement images of an object.
Current application in the LGV is primarily in aerial photogrammetry.
Aerial photos have long since become an indispensable aid for cartography and other areas of application.
The entire urban area is documented every year by vertical photographs in the RGBI color space.
In terms of content, everything can be recorded that is visible in the aerial photo.
Examples are:
- Changes in the topography in the form of break lines (quay walls, embankments),
- the geometry of the roof landscapes for the 3D city model,
- Contents of as-built plans according to the standardization catalog,
- the geometric separation of sealed surfaces or
- also called the location regulations for trees.
The vertical recordings of the flights are available in digital form in TIFF format for stereoscopic aerial photo analysis.
By default, digital orthophotos are derived from these flights (see link).
