Detailed description

As a private pilot, you must have a pilot's license. This license comes with time-limited privileges.


To continue participating in air traffic, you must apply for the renewal of your private pilot license privileges.

Prerequisites

  • You hold a private pilot's license.
  • Your authorizations are about to expire.

  • Proof of the extension conditions for the respective authorization

Authorizations can only be renewed before they expire.

Procedure

  • You will take a competency test; alternatively, if the necessary requirements are met, the instructor can extend the authorizations in your license by hand.

Processing varies depending on the individual case.

Fees

The services are subject to a charge in accordance with the Aviation Administration’s Cost Ordinance (LuftKostV), in its currently valid version.
