As a private pilot, you must have a pilot's license. This license comes with time-limited privileges.

If the privileges in your private pilot license have already expired, you can apply for a renewal and thus continue to participate in air traffic.

You take a qualification test.
After successfully completing the exam, the ratings will be entered into your pilot license with new validity upon request.
