Report changes to childcare

Prerequisites

• Your child is already being cared for in a daycare facility
• Changes have occurred within the approval period of the care
  • Your child changes care facility
  • You want to change the duration of care
  • Your child needs a more intensive form of care (e.g. integration group)
  • You want to end the care
  • The size of your family is changing
  • they move
  • Your income has changed

Documents required

• Change notification
• In case of a change of daycare center, please also provide a copy of the daycare center’s cancellation confirmation
• If the care time is reduced, additionally: copy of the change of notice from the daycare center
• If there is a higher need for care: proof of need such as:
  • Copy of the new employment contract or training contract
  • certificate by the employer
  • Proof of integration measure
  • Proof of attendance of language courses, integration courses
• If you change employer or start work: new employment contract
• in case of changes in income: completed questionnaire on economic circumstances with the relevant documents

Deadlines

You must notify us immediately of any changes. A change can only be approved once the application has been received.

Procedure

• You communicate the circumstances of the change online, in writing or in person.
• The responsible authority will examine your notification and, if necessary, request any necessary documents or information from you.
• You will receive a written notification.
