The Origin – Arrival – Future (HAZ) project supports you if you, as a person with a migration background, are struggling with addiction. It offers you easy-to-understand information in your native language about support services in Hamburg.
At special HAZ events, you'll learn where and how you can get support, for example, if you have problems with alcohol, drugs, or medication. The meetings are facilitated by specially trained people who speak your language, are familiar with your culture, and often have a similar or identical migration background. You can simply attend the information sessions or participate directly, for example, by asking questions. Participation is voluntary and confidential. You don't need to register or provide your name.
The HAZ also offers flyers with information in your native language, which you can take with you or view and download online.
The HAZ’s services are also aimed at family members, friends and acquaintances of people suffering from addiction.
If you are an institution that works with affected people, you also have the option of booking your own information event directly at your institution.
