The aim of Origin-Arrival-Future is culturally sensitive education about the addiction support system in Hamburg and the communication of information on the subject of 'addiction' in the communities and in the mother tongue. The removal of taboos on the subject of addiction among migrants is the focus of interest. For this purpose, the project is supported by volunteer multipliers, the so-called keypersons, who bring their specially trained knowledge of this topic to individual events. As part of the Origin-Arrival-Future project, we are holding general information events in our house about the addiction support system in Hamburg this year. The information events of this project take place in the respective mother tongue, can be visited anonymously and voluntarily and should allow anonymous access for people with a migration background in a central location in Hamburg. About the information events in Farsi and Turkish: our offer is aimed at those affected, relatives and interested parties, young and older Hamburg residents from Afghanistan and Iran in Farsi / Persian and at people from the Turkish-speaking area who are interested in topics such as addiction and want to inform drugs. Problems with and questions about dealing with legal and illegal drugs are the topics of our information events. Above all, the Hamburg addiction support system is presented in the respective mother tongue. Information on events can be obtained from the Hamburg State Office for Addiction Issues on the telephone number given. There are information flyers on this project in German with English, Farsi / Persian, French, Russian and Turkish. There is also an information flyer in German, with a brief presentation of the project offer. These flyers can be downloaded from our website www.sucht-hamburg.de or ordered free of charge from the Hamburg State Office for Addiction Issues.
