Detailed description
The staff of the residential care supervisory authority advise and support users, their relatives, operators and interested parties regarding the following forms of housing and care:
- Serviced apartments (formerly assisted living)
- Shared apartments
- Assisted living communities
- Residential facilities (formerly retirement and nursing homes and facilities for adults with disabilities)
- Guest facilities (short-term care facilities, day and night care facilities, and hospices)
The task of the residential care supervisory authority is to support users in asserting their interests and rights, as well as operators in fulfilling legal requirements, to monitor compliance, and to take the necessary regulatory measures to prevent or remedy deficiencies.
