Detailed description
Businesses in both regulated and unregulated trades, as well as craft-like businesses, are required to be members of the relevant Chamber of Skilled Crafts. Depending on the type of business, they are listed either in the Register of Skilled Crafts or in the Register of Owners of Unregulated or Craft-like Businesses.
If the Chamber of Skilled Crafts determines that the requirements for registration were not met or have subsequently ceased to exist, the business will be deleted ex officio. This means that the Chamber of Skilled Crafts will carry out the deletion independently and without an application from the business as soon as it becomes aware of the relevant circumstances.
Before deregistration, the business is usually given the opportunity to comment on the intended deregistration. Deregistration also terminates membership in the Chamber of Skilled Crafts.
If a craft business requiring a license is removed from the register of crafts, the craft card must be returned to the Chamber of Crafts.
