Change entry in the trade register

Prerequisites

They are registered in the trade register.

You must show the change to your data if:

• Your address details may change as a sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation, as well as for registered business locations.
• Your electronic contact details change (for example, telephone number or email address)
• Changes to details of authorized representatives and shareholders,
• A business location is to be deleted or a new business location is to be registered

Documents required

Company details:

• Company number
• Company name
• If applicable, the effective date of the data change.
• Details of the type of data change (for example, contact details and addresses, as well as other data on persons and business premises)

Deadlines

Immediately if a change occurs.

Procedure

If you would like to report the change online:

• You download the application to change your data from the online service of the responsible authority.
• You fill out the application, attach all the required documents and send it to the responsible authority.
• Your change will be entered in the trade register.

The written application is equivalent to the online application. You can submit the application by email.

Processing time

Processing can take up to several weeks.

Fees

The specific fee is determined by the fee schedule of the Chamber of Skilled Crafts, which can be accessed via the Chamber's website.
