Detailed description
According to the Hamburg Surveying Act of April 20, 2005, buildings are real estate and must be recorded in the property cadastre. Changes must be recorded as quickly as possible so that the official documents remain up to date.
For this reason, the Hamburg Surveying Act obliges property owners to have all buildings whose floor plan has been changed or which have been completely new surveyed at their own expense. They can commission a "surveyor" of their choice or us, the State Office for Geoinformation and Surveying. If you are interested in our service, please use the online surveying application in the City of Hamburg's service portal.
The State Office for Geoinformation and Surveying monitors the obligation to survey buildings and informs affected property owners. Once the building has been completed, the owner is then asked to place the required order.
In any case, this precise, up-to-date data is indispensable for many tasks.
