In Hamburg there is a compulsory burial (Section 10 of the Hamburg Funeral Act). If nobody orders a burial for a deceased person, the processing takes place via the Hamburger Friedhöfe -AöR- (contact via the Friedhof Ohlsdorf, Tel. 593 88 740).
