- where young people themselves are involved in planning and projects
- who stand up for the rights of children and young people.
The equalization of social disadvantages and the integration of young people through improved participation and their social co-determination are key areas of funding.

According to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, children and young people have a right to special care and support, to promotion and protection, a non-violent and protective upbringing, to education and training, to education to become democratic residents and to their appropriate participation in political and political life social life.
In accordance with these guidelines, the federal state fund also promotes measures that convey awareness of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the rights enshrined in it, and support their implementation.
In particularly justified cases, funding of up to 10,000 euros is possible.
