Refugee Center Hamburg

Counseling services for refugees General information

The Hamburg Refugee Center offers you, as a refugee, help with questions about your rights, work, education and future prospects, as well as support in dealing with authorities.

Detailed description

The Central Information and Advice for Refugees gGmbH (Hamburg Refugee Center) is a non-profit organization of the Workers' Welfare Association, the Caritas Association and the German Red Cross.

If you are a refugee living in Hamburg and need support, you can get advice about your personal situation there.

At the Refugee Center, you can receive assistance on many important topics: You can learn about your prospects in Germany, get advice on German courses, or receive support if you are particularly vulnerable – for example, due to illness, age, or other special circumstances. If you are considering a voluntary return to your country of origin or need information about humanitarian admission, you've come to the right place.

In addition to individual counseling, various group programs are available. These help you better navigate everyday life and manage contact with authorities or other important agencies. The goal is to ensure you settle in Hamburg safely and receive the support you need.
