If you are a severely disabled person and need to use accessible toilets, you can purchase the Eurokey.

Detailed description

If you are a severely disabled person and need to use disabled toilets, you can purchase the Euro key. All disabled toilets marked with the wheelchair symbol, including those at motorway rest areas, motorway service stations and motorway petrol stations in Germany and other European countries, can be opened with the Euro key.

 

Information

Prerequisites

You are in possession of a severely disabled person’s ID card with the symbols

  • aG, B, H, or BL
  • G
  • GdB from 70 and upwards

or you have one of the following impairments

  • Severe / exceptional walking disability
  • wheelchair user
  • visual impairment or blindness
  • Severely disabled persons in need of assistance, possibly with an assistant

or you have a document that proves the following diseases:

  • stoma wearer
  • multiple sclerosis
  • Crohn's disease
  • ulcerative colitis
  • Chronic bladder/bowel disease

Documents required

  • Severely disabled person's ID card (mark aG), if necessary, copy of both sides of the severely disabled person's ID card
  • Alternatively: copy of the decision of the social security office or a certificate from the doctor

  • You order the Euro key from the responsible authority and submit the necessary documents.

  • You pay the costs.
  • You will receive the Euro key

Processing may take up to several weeks.

31.50 EUR including shipping costs (registered mail)
