The Elster account inquiry offers every taxpayer or his tax advisor the possibility of obtaining information from his own tax account or the client's tax account (debit positions, payments and claims) via the Internet with certain query options. The aim of the Elster account query is to allow the taxpayer or his authorized representative to inspect the respective tax accounts independently, regardless of location and time.
The tax account query is generally available 7 days a week from 4:30 a.m. to 00:30 a.m.

Please note
The use of the power of attorney database is recommended for tax advisory professions.
Another way is the so-called power of attorney code procedure. You need an Elster account with an organization certificate for your tax number. In order to use the power of attorney procedure (power of attorney without presumption of power of attorney) and the tax account query, registration with a signature card is required.
For inquiries regarding authorizations via the power of attorney database, please contact the responsible tax office.
