Prerequisites

Documents required

• Written application as per appendix including questionnaire on personal circumstances
• A tabular CV with full details of your education, training(s) and professional experience. Please sign your CV.
• Certified copy of passport or identity card or personal presentation of the original to the fire department
• Confirmation of registration or proof of employment or declaration of intent that the profession is to be practiced in the area of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg in the future
• Certified copy of diploma and examination certificate or personal presentation of the originals
• Proof from the school/training institution of the duration of the training
  Evidence of theoretical and practical subjects with number of hours per subject
• Proof of practical training (clinical internships) in the functional areas/departments (with number of hours)
• Evidence of the type and scope of the final examination: oral, written and practical examination subjects

Processing time

The processing time can vary greatly from case to case. The deadlines according to Section 13 HmbBQFG are taken into account.

Fees

The fee depends on the amount of processing required and is currently between approx. EUR 45.00 and, in individual cases, up to approx. EUR 350.00. If the application is rejected, 3/4 of the fee will be charged.
