Important notes


The rescue service training acquired abroad can be recognized for the activity as a paramedic if there are no significant differences between the proven professional qualifications and the paramedic training in Germany. Significant differences can be compensated for by completing an adaptation course or taking an aptitude test in Germany.

Documents required

  • Written application in accordance with the attachment including a questionnaire on personal circumstances
  • Tabular curriculum vitae with complete information on school education, training (s) and professional career. Please sign the résumé.
  • Certified copy of passport or identity card or personal presentation of the original to the fire brigade
