Education package - Apply for reimbursement of school supplies costs for recipients of citizen's income under 25 years of age

Prerequisites

• You or your child are a student and not yet 25 years old.
• You or your parents receive citizen's income.
• You or your child attend a general education school (including preschool) or a vocational school.
• You or your child will not receive any training allowance.

Documents required

If your child is under 7 or over 15 years old:

• Application (see link Application for school supplies - education package)
• School certificate (issued by the school)

Keep the receipts for the school supplies you purchased so that you can present them if the relevant authority requests them.

Deadlines

Apply for reimbursement in good time before the start of the school year or semester so that the benefits can be paid out in time.

Procedure

• For children aged 7 to 15, you do not need to apply for reimbursement of school supplies. You will receive the money automatically.
• If your child is under 7 years old or over 15 years old, you can apply for reimbursement of costs with the required documents from the relevant authority.
• The responsible authority will review your application and documents. If necessary, they will request further documents or information from you.
• The relevant authority will decide on your application.
• You will receive a notification.
