Cessation of operations as a certification service provider in accordance with the Signature Act

Documents required

Proof that the qualified certificates that were valid when the activity was discontinued will be adopted by another certification service provider or will be blocked. Proof of notification of the signature key holder concerned that the activity has been discontinued and that the qualified certificates have been taken over by another certification service provider. Proof of the handover of the documentation according to § 10 Signature Act to the certification service provider, who accepts the certificates. (If no other provider takes over the documentation, it will be taken over by the Federal Network Agency.) Furthermore: Application to open insolvency proceedings.
