Subsidy application in agriculture (covering costs, fall animal subsidy)

Prerequisites

You want to be reimbursed for costs that have been billed to you

• incurred to prevent or combat animal diseases and zoonoses
• arose as a result of the disposal of animals that had died or were not killed for consumption in a rendering facility

Documents required

Invoice from the animal carcass disposal facility for the costs incurred

Please note

EU law stipulates that at least 25% of the disposal of dead animals is paid directly by the animal owner.

The city of Hamburg covers 70% of the amounts charged by the carcass disposal company for the disposal of so-called fallen animals such as cattle, pigs, sheep and goats.

Show the costs incurred promptly.

Procedure

• Submit an application for agricultural aid together with the necessary documents to the relevant authority.
• The responsible office will examine your application and your documents. If necessary, the responsible authority may request further documents or information from you.
• The responsible authority will decide on your application.
• You will receive a notification.
• If approved, you will receive the aid.
