Detailed description

As a private individual or company, you can voluntarily make your buildings or land available for refugees to live there temporarily or permanently. This could involve, for example, renting out an existing building or providing land for the construction of accommodation. Your offer helps meet the housing needs of refugees and facilitate their integration.


Please also get in touch if you know of a building or piece of land that could be available for this purpose, even if you do not own it.

Which documents are required depends on the individual case. The responsible authority will inform you in a timely manner as soon as documents are required.

Procedure

  • You register your interest in making your property available by email to the relevant agency. Please describe your offer as precisely as possible, including the availability period, your address, and your telephone number. Feel free to include any existing floor plans or site plans.
    • You can also contact us if you know of a potentially suitable property. If you don't own the property, please let us know.
  • The responsible authority will check the suitability of your offer and, if necessary, arrange an inspection.
  • The responsible body will decide whether your offer is suitable. If so, it will enter into a written contract with you.

You should expect processing to take up to several months.
