Detailed description

A company that is subject to the provisions of the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Act (TEHG) must regularly prepare a so-called emissions report.



Before this report can be submitted to the relevant authority, it must be reviewed by an expert body. If you wish to conduct this review as an expert body, you will need accreditation from the relevant authority.

To be recognized as an expert testing body, you must meet certain professional requirements, which are precisely described in the law. The responsible authority can also provide you with more detailed information.

Documents required

Documents are required. Please request these from the relevant authority.

Please note

If you already

  • possess a qualification as an independent environmental auditor with accreditation under the Environmental Auditing Act or
  • They were publicly appointed under the Trade Regulation Act to review emissions reports,

You can also receive recognition without further examination.

Procedure

  • You submit your application, along with any necessary supporting documents, to the relevant authority.
  • The relevant authority will review your application.
  • Upon successful completion of the exam, you will receive the accreditation.
