Depending on the legal form of the company and the type of fact to be entered, additional documents must be submitted (sometimes also to be certified by the notary) You can find out from the notary which documents must be submitted in each individual case - All documents must be in electronic form
- Changes to the business address must be registered in a notarized form (electronically)
- People who want to apply for an extract for third parties must present a legitimation or authorization.
The fees for entry in the commercial register depend on the entry effort.

Procedure
Extracts from the commercial register can be requested by anyone personally on site or in writing (also by fax) or accessed online on the Internet.
In the case of written requests, the extract will be sent against an invoice.
In the event of a personal request on site at the service center, proof of identification (ID / passport) must be presented.
People who want to apply for an extract for third parties on account must present a legitimation or authorization.
For online research regarding relevant data from the Hamburg commercial register, registration at www.handelsregister.de is required. Please visit the website for more information.
Fees
Internet access: Accessing data from the register (per register sheet) 4.50 euros; Retrieval of documents that have been submitted to the register - per file retrieved - 1.50 euros. Personal or written request to the registry court: official printout (previously certified register extract) 20.00 euros, printout previously unauthorized register extract - 10.00 euros, photocopies of the submitted documents 0.50 euros per page.
