Register for outpatient nursing care

If you wish to operate a care service, you must register it with the relevant authority before the intended start of operations.

Detailed description

If you wish to operate a care service, you must notify the relevant authority of your intention no later than six weeks before the intended start of operations.


If you operate a disability support service, you must notify the relevant authority of your intention to do so at least three months before the planned start of operations.

 

Information

Prerequisites

Anyone wishing to open a care service must submit a target group-oriented care concept, a violence prevention concept, informational materials from the care service, and the registration form. For services in shared living arrangements, the following documents are required: the number of residents and their number of users, the planned number of staff, informational materials from the care service, and certified copies of the qualification certificates of the service manager and the head of nursing. The managing director/operator requires an extended police clearance certificate and an extract from the central business register.

  • ID card or passport
  • Professional license, certificate
  • Proof of professional training
  • Proof of professional career
  • Certificate of good conduct for submission to authorities
  • extract from the central Register of trade and commerce

Evidence of the professional career of the company management and the nursing service management must be attached in the original or as a certified photocopy.

Please note

The notification must contain the following additional information and documents:

  • the planned start date of operations,
  • the names and addresses of the care service and the operator,
  • the nursing concept of the nursing service,
  • Violence prevention concept
  • the name, professional training and career of the company and nursing service management as well as
  • the number and addresses of the shared living arrangements cared for by the care service within the meaning of Section 2 Paragraph 3.

Deadlines

Six weeks or three months before the planned commissioning.

Procedure

  • Submit your application in writing, along with all required documents, to the relevant authority.
  • The responsible authority receives the application and checks it.
  • If necessary, the responsible authority will request further documents or information.
  • If all requirements for an outpatient nursing service are met and the documents are available, a registration certificate will be issued for submission to the cost bearers.

  • Please appear in person at the agreed appointment and bring all required original documents with you.
  • The responsible authority receives the application and examines it.
  • If necessary, the responsible authority will request further documents or information.
  • If all requirements for an outpatient nursing service are met and the documents are available, a registration certificate will be issued for submission to the cost bearers.

Fees apply. The fee is calculated based on time spent.
