Waste and Disposal - Ship Waste

In the Port of Hamburg you will receive the right solutions for your ship to dispose of oily residues, ship waste water, chemicals and solid waste.

Detailed description

In the Port of Hamburg, sea-going vessels, inland waterway vessels and port vessels have the opportunity to dispose of oily residues, ship waste water, chemicals and solid waste.

13 tankers with a carrying capacity of approximately 6,150 cubic metres, including three tankers for the transport of highly flammable liquids, are available for the waterside disposal of solid and liquid waste.

In addition, there are a large number of onshore disposal options for solid waste.

2000 disposals each year with approximately 45,000 cubic meters of oily residues from shipping operations are proof of an exemplary waste disposal infrastructure in the Port of Hamburg.
