Detailed description
Since April 1st, 2010, the electronic waste verification procedure (eANV) with a qualified electronic signature of the parties involved has been mandatory as verification procedure for the disposal of hazardous waste. The data from the waste disposal certificates and consignment notes are transmitted via a central communication system. In order to participate in this electronic waste record procedure, those involved in waste disposal must be registered with the central coordination office (ZKS-Abfall.de).
You can obtain an electronic signature card and a card reader on the PC from various providers.
The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety has presented guidelines for the introduction of the electronic waste record procedure, which is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized companies. You can find the guidelines from 09/17/2013 as a brief guide or as a full version (20 pages) on the BMUB website.
