Significant changes to low-frequency or direct current systems

Detailed description

If no further permits for emissions control are required for your plant, you must report any planned significant changes to the responsible authority.


For low-frequency installations with less than 110 kilovolts, you only need to submit documents if the responsible authority requests them.

 

Information

Prerequisites

Your facility crosses or lies on:

  • on a property within the area of a development plan or
  • within a built-up area or
  • on a plot of land in a rural area that is developed with residential buildings.
  • The facility does not require a permit.
  • You want to make significant changes to the plant.

Documents required

  • Display with the data required for the system
  • Site plan

Please note

You are committing an administrative offense if you fail to submit the notification of changes, or if you submit it incorrectly, incompletely, or not on time.

Deadlines

Notify us of any planned significant changes to the plant at least 2 weeks before they are due to take effect.

Procedure

  • You submit the notification, including the site plan, in writing by post or electronically by email to the responsible authority.
  • The relevant authority will receive your report and review it.
  • If necessary, the responsible authority will request further documents or information from you.
